The Star Ferry service operates a fleet of ferries between the Island of Hong Kong and Kowloon. The ferries depart every 10 minutes or so from the Central Star Ferry Terminal.
In addition to being inexpensive, the ferry service provides visitors with excellent views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong city skyline.
Hong Kong Ferry Service
The Macau Ferry service shuttles passengers between Hong Kong Island and the form Portuguese colony of Macau (Macau SAR).
The high-speed ferries depart from the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry terminal. Ferry service to Macau is also available from Kowloon.
Ferry service also operates from piers in Hong Kong Central to various islands within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SKSAR):
- Ma Wan (Pier 2)
- Discovery Bay, Lantau Island (Pier 3)
- Lamma Island (Pier 4)
- Cheung Chau Island (Pier 5)
- Mui Wo, Peng Chau, Lantau Island (Pier 6)
